What is Microsoft Office Collection? Microsoft Office Collection is a set of office suite programs created by Microsoft, with word processing software Word, spreadsheet software Excel, PowerPoint for presentations, and Outlook for email. The suite includes these basic programs combined in different permutations to produce other products. These are available for Mac OS X and Windows operating systems. There are also mobile versions of most of these applications available on various platforms including Android or iOS devices. The task pane contains a "mail merge", which provides prompts for adding data from an external source to the document being created. Other new features include a "Review tab", for comparing two documents, and a "Web Layout view". In Word 2010, the ribbon was replaced by the feature panel, which not only displays different groups of features depending on whether or not a document is opened but allows multiple different types of content to be arranged in tabs at the top of the window. The Office Button also brings up a menu that provides access to recent documents and email attachments. In Word 2013, the ribbon is now a tab on the left-hand side of the window. The task pane now contains a "commenting" tool with which users can insert comments into a document and reply to them. Comments can be added as hyperlinks to the document they refer to, or as text in a margin. In Word 2016, several features were added including a new "intelligent typing" feature that provides autocompletion options based on word usage patterns, and writing analysis for showing how words are most commonly used in an article or chapter. There is also a "track changes" feature that allows multiple editors to review edits made by other editors. As of Microsoft Office 2013, the following features have been added: Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program that is a part of the Microsoft Office software suite. It features calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables and a macro language called Visual Basic for Applications. It has been a highly popular spreadsheet for many years, and has been widely used in the business world as a data analysis and report writing tool. Excel forms part of Microsoft Office, an integrated office suite developed by Microsoft for its Windows operating system and introduced in 1989.
